To add a target, just follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to the targets page

On Probely:

From the manage targets page, click "Add new target".

On Probely+:

From the targets list, click "Add" to open the "Add target" form.

Step 2: Fill in the "Add target" form

On Probely or Probely+:

Fill in the Name and URL of the target. If you want to scan a standalone API without a supporting web application, select the API target option and provide the API Schema before submitting the form. Lear more about that here.

On Probely+:

Optionally, you can also add Labels to help you easily identify that target later on.

If you want to scan an internal application without the need to expose it on the Internet or even to our IP addresses, you can also assign a Scanning Agent to the target. Learn more about that here.

Step 3: Once you are done, submit the form

On Probely:

Confirm the target details and submit the form. At this point, your target is added and you should proceed to its verification. Learn more about that here.

On Probely+:

When submitting the form, we will check connectivity to your target; if your target is unreachable, we will allow you to bypass that warning and add the target regardless. However, bear in mind that we will need to be able to reach your target in order to scan it.
