How and when to review the scan's login attempt

Learn how you can watch a video of the login attempt to understand whether authentication was successful during your last scan.

When you configure authentication on your target and run a scan, you probably want to make sure the crawler is able to successfully log in to your application. Besides being able to check the crawling report for each particular scan and review the endpoints visited during the scan, you can also watch a video of the login attempt.

This video is available on your last scan’s results page for a bit over a month, assuming there was a login attempt during that scan. You can see this in the feedback section of the scan results page:

This video allows you to confirm whether a login was successful, alerting you to update your target settings accordingly if needed. If you realize the login didn’t work as expected, even though it was identified as successful, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
